Stephen Robinson - campaigning for you all year round

Stephen Robinson is a hard-working campaigner. He was part of the successful campaign against Conservative plans to downgrade Broomfield Hospital's A&E and he leads campaigns against the Conservative Local Plan that does not deliver enough infrastructure in advance (schools, transport, GPs, affordable housing etc.)

He has been a leading campaigner against the Conservative Brexit deal that will deeply damage Britain and its economy. He believes the people should be given the final say on the deal, not a Westminster stitch-up. More here.

He is an Essex County Councillor, Chelmsford Lib Dem Group Leader and in 2010 he came close to being elected as the MP. In Chelmsford, elections are either won by Liberal Democrats or Conservatives. No other party won any council seats in Chelmsford in 2013 or 2015 or 2017.

These services are at breaking point, following years of cuts by councils and rising demand and rising costs for care and support."
